He is also experienced with public employee disciplinary matters. Zachery is also an experienced appellate litigator, having served as lead counsel for and argued matters before several state courts of appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, and lead counsel before the United States Supreme Court on behalf of several large entity clients as amicus curiae. This includes serving as a lead negotiator, administrative litigator before local adjudicative bodies, contracted adjudicators, and the California Public Employee Relations Board ("PERB"), and civil litigator in both state and federal courts with an emphasis on collective bargaining and public law matters. Zachery joins the firm with several years of experience in all matters of public sector collective bargaining. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Alex served in student government which allowed her to engage with both the local city council and state legislature, lobbying for student needs. in Political Science and a minor in Honors. Prior to law school, Alex graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wyoming with a B.A. Alex also worked for the UCLA Voting Rights Project as a law fellow, assisting in voting rights litigation and policy initiatives.
